MESSAGE FROM THE TEAM LEADER

Dr. Everline Komutunga (Lead Scientist)

To further develop and strengthen Climate change research in NARO into a leading hub for climate-smart technologies, information, and ICT tools, Climate change research continues to generate advanced agricultural information and climate-smart technologies as well as actively develop field-based climate smart technologies with practical applications that will benefit the farmers.

To this end, we are moving forward with plans such as ICT tools, crop modeling for future yields, creation of climate champions to further the climate agenda, dissemination and feedback strategies, scaling of new climate-smart crop varieties, and new practices.

The Climate research staff will try their best in achieving a "bright future for climate change and mitigation in agriculture and a happy resilient rural community"

We look forward to your unyielding cooperation and support!

Thank you very much!
